Phosphorus Free Dishwasher Detergents

Splash Special Projects Editor Tammy Kimberley pitched in with a news story this week about the ban on dishwashing detergents containing phosphorus that takes effect July 1. She did some excellent reporting, and one of the things that surfaced as she talked to people is that many still aren't aware that popular brands like Cascade won't be available in Spokane County stores a week from today.
Like many people in Liberty Lake, my family has experimented with phosphorus-free detergents with mixed results. Some seem to work well, some not so much, and there are many factors (hardness of the water, etc.) that may figure into this.
What detergents have worked for your household? Any advice or issues you've come across you can share with the rest of us?
