ANOTHER UPDATE: Good Sam in the Slammer?

Under the tagline, "A Question of Intent," The Spokesman-Review updated the bizarre story about a Liberty Lake man who intervened in a scuffle outside the Spokane Valley Wal-Mart, only to find out later he had assisted a shoplifter escaping plainclothes security officers. Saturday's story gives voice to the Liberty Lake man and his attorney. Meanwhile, as sources in the article ponder whether charges should be sought against the man, Spokane Valley Police Department spokesman Dave Reagan said "we're going to pursue those charges aggressively."
