The 2011 Splash Select Game Rules

• Each participant picks the winner of eight pre-selected football games weekly for 12 weeks, beginning with the Sept. 9-11 football weekend. Week 12 will feature 12 total games to give players one last shot at the top prize and to bring our total picks for the season to 100.
• Splash Select participants must submit their picks for each game one hour before the kick-off of that game.
• Each week the top Splash Select participants for that week's games will be highlighted in the paper and every week the overall leader board will be updated on the website.
• Weekly winners will receive a $25 gift certificate to True Legends Grill, while the overall season winner will earn $100 cash. The second place finisher will receive a one-month membership to the Liberty Lake Athletic Club, and the third place finisher will win a $25 gift certificate to True Legends.
• The eight weekly games will include the Central Valley high school football game, four college football games (featuring WSU, Washington, Pac 10 games or nationally relevant games) and three NFL games (including the Seahawks). When CV's season ends there will be four college and four NFL games to choose from weekly.
• In the event of a weekly tie, the first tiebreaker is determined by the record in college games that week. The second tiebreaker is the record of NFL games for that week, while the third tiebreaker is the Central Valley High School game. If those tiebreakers do not break the tie, we go to overall record of picking college games for the season, followed by NFL games and finally Central Valley games.
• If a tie exists at the end of the season, we will apply the tiebreakers of season-long record in college games first, followed by NFL games and finally with Central Valley games to determine the overall winner. If a tie still exists after these tiebreakers are applied, a random drawing will decide the winner.
