COMMUNITY EVENTS
March 31 to April 3 | Book fair 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Liberty Lake Elementary School, 23606 E. Boone Ave. The community is invited to a Scholastic Book Fair that will raise funds to purchase books for the school. An opening Family Fiesta from 4 to 7 p.m. March 31 will offer activities, food and piñatas as well as 25 percent off all purchases. 

April 2 & 8 | Series on Forgiveness 7 to 8:30 p.m., St. Joseph Church, 4521 N. Arden Road, Otis Orchards. Presented by Charles Finck, this series will deal with how to forgive with Christ as our model. For more: www.stjoeparish.org or 926-7133

April 5 | Clean Green Day 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., corner of Mission and Signal. The city of Liberty Lake and the Liberty Lake Sewer and Water District are sponsoring this event. Local residents are invited to bring yard waste including leaves, sticks and limbs, grass clippings and weeds (no dirt, rock, sod or garbage). For more: 755-6714

April 6 | Spaghetti dinner benefit 4 to 7 p.m., Opportunity Presbyterian Church, 202 N. Pines Road. Proceeds from this benefit will go to Shon Hartley who needs a bone marrow transplant to battle leukemia. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for children 12 and under; RSVP is requested. April 10 | Organize Your Finances workshop Noon to 1 p.m., Liberty Lake Municipal Library, 23123 E. Mission Ave. Join STCU experts for a free workshop to learn about the benefits of organization, bill-paying systems and record keeping. A light, complimentary lunch will be provided. April 19 | Community Easter Egg Hunt 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Valley Real Life Church, 1831 S. Barker Road, Spokane Valley. Appleway Ave. Youth in grades 2 through 5 are invited to learn all aspects of theater including auditioning, costumes, makeup, choreography, blocking, lighting and sound, sets, props and more. Liberty Lake Art Society Third Wednesday of the month, various times and locations. Create, learn and explore new art avenues, as well as display, sell and network your art.
