A PTA Reflections reception and awards ceremony was held on Jan. 8 at Horizon Middle School, where students were recognized for their entries in areas such as photography, film, literature and visual arts. Entries from Liberty Lake Elementary students Ansel LaPier, Alexis Palmer, Srikar Surapaneni and Emma Fredekind (pictured with LLES Vice Principal Shelly Bajadali) will be forwarded to the state level competition. District level recipients from LLES included Ashley Boswell, Claire Westby, Spencer Bringhurst, Hannah Wesley, Conner Bringhurst, Olivia Rachoy, Cohen Rachoy and Finn Mallinen. The National PTA Reflections program encourages students to explore the arts and express themselves by giving positive recognition for their artistic efforts.
