Local Lens: Dads and daughters dance the night away

The sixth annual Liberty Lake Kiwanis Father-Daughter Dance saw growing attendance Saturday. More than 350 fathers and daughters filled CenterPlace at Mirabeau Point in Spokane Valley, up from 322 in 2010. Kiwanian and Liberty Lake resident Dana Hilpert shared these photos (all the bead necklaces marked the Mardi Gras theme, as well as masks and purple, yellow and green decor). Money raised from the event supports the community service efforts of the Liberty Lake Kiwanis.
