The Liberty Lake Sewer and Water District recently received a 2009 Outstanding Treatment Plant Award from the Washington Department of Ecology.

The award is based on a perfect record for meeting wastewater discharge requirements and completing paperwork and lab tests.

This is the third time out of the last four years that LLSWD has won the award. The district also won it in 1997.
