Hoopfest Champs

The Splash received several pictures of Hoopfest bracket champions with Liberty Lake ties:
 Submitted photo Team Aguilas (Eagles) won the Hoopfest family bracket 5-0 this past weekend. The Alpine Shores team included captain and dad Ernie Aguilar and sons Bryce and Bryan Aguilar. "Even though we aren't very big (5'9" to 6') and usually outmatched physically, we prevailed by out hustling and employing tenacious defense throughout each game," Ernie Aguilar wrote in an e-mail. Bryce Aguilar also played on another team called "Runnaz" that finish second in its division. |
