CVHS Sports Roundup The Central Valley High School football team recently began their 2010 campaign with a 33-27 loss to Mt. Spokane High School. The teams traded early touchdowns as the Bears struck first on a two-yard touchdown pass from Garret Sawyer to Anthony Brommer. After a Mt. Spokane score, CV regained the lead on a 64-yard touchdown run from Ryan Nungester. The lead was short lived as Mt. Spokane rolled off three straight scores to open a two-touchdown lead from which the Bears could not rally.
Central Valley's next game is at 4:45 p.m. tonight against Mead High School at Joe Albi Stadium. |
