Moose calf accidentally killed

A moose calf that had been hanging out in Liberty Lake for about a week has been accidentally killed. Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife officials said they were trying to scare the animal and its mother away from Liberty Lake neighborhoods on Tuesday with a cracker shell, but instead accidentally killed the calf.
